St. Ann's EKC and EYC

Mission Statement

Our mission is to lovingly work together to build community and reflect God’s kingdom in the world.

The children and youth of St. Ann's enjoy activities and fellowship beyond our Sunday morning Christian Education with supported opportunities to learn, grow, and make lasting friendships. The Episcopal Kids Community (EKC) and the Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) gather because we are called to be good stewards and do the best we can with the gifts that God has given us.

Episcopal Kids Community

Who We Are

We are kids from 4th - 6th grade.

What We Do and When

We meet on the first and third Sundays of each month 3:30–4:45 p.m. Snacks will be provided.

We will share in prayer, discussions, do service projects, have game nights, and most importantly… HAVE FUN!

We will have 3 service projects this year that deal with homelessness and hunger.

Episcopal Youth Community

Who We Are

We are a diverse group of youth from 7th -12th grade.

What We Do and When

We meet each Sunday 5:00-6:30 p.m.  Dinner or snacks will be provided.

We gather for prayer, discussion, service, outings, games and fun.  Our usual month of activity includes a service project, a guest speaker, discussion, and an activity night.

In the fall a retreat starts off our church year.  Each spring we enjoy a lock-in. A mission trip is on our calendar for summer.

We meet informally during the summer with activities to continue fellowship and community. These things may include baseball games, music, movies, and dancing in the park. Summer also brings a time for our youth to volunteer at Hope Exchange, our church sponsored summer literacy program.

St. Ann
’s is a dynamic community that is forever reaching and growing, learning and loving.  We are a community filled with great ideas and high expectations, especially among our children and youth. If you are youth or a parent and would like to be further involved, have questions or comments, ideas or suggestions please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you.
