St. Ann's is a Jubilee Ministry of the Episcopal Church

St. Ann's was designated as a Jubilee Ministry this year. Jubilee Ministries are recognized by the Social and Economic Justice Office of the Episcopal Church Center as a congregation that reaches out and supports the poor and marginalized through service, worship and advocacy. St. Ann's received a Partnership Grant to help fund our East Nashville Hope Exchange Program.

Rooftop

Rooftop provides rental assistance and help with utility bills. St. Ann's is part of a network of religious and social service organizations that contributes financially and serves as a local and accessible place for people to complete an application to be submitted to Metro Action Council. St. Ann's is a major source of referrals in East Nashville.

Noodle Ministry

This ministry is simple and works from our front door. We provide a simple menu of Ramen Noodles, a beverage and something sweet two days of the week when the major feeding program for the homeless in East Nashville is closed. The ministry does not operate in the summers when East Nashville Hope Exchange is in session.

Episcopal Relief and Development

St. Ann's uses ERD and as a way to respond to disasters in other parts of the world.  Special offerings are solicited during Advent and Lent. This past year the Lenten offering was designated to help rebuild the cathedral in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

People of God Organized (POGO)

This is a new consortium of religious organizations in east Nashville that seek to improve the community through organizing and empowering residents to make changes.  St. Ann’s is one of the founding and sponsoring congregations.

Youth in Outreach

Our youth have also been involved in outreach. A Summer Mission Trip is planned.  Our youth also participate in Souper Bowl Sunday and have provided meals for families during Thanksgiving and Easter. They share in adult outreach activities when appropriate. In the past our youth have volunteer for East Nashville Hope Exchange.

Community within our Walls

Our building is used by various groups for meetings, dinners, training events and other activities. We are the home to two AA groups and a CA group. We welcome non profits that share our values as we offer a safe and convenient place to gather.
